NaTasha Rogers is no stranger to following her intuition and boldly pursuing her greatest dreams of being a world-class entertainer, music educator, and becoming a future board-certified music therapist. She auditioned for Beyoncé’s all-female band in Houston, Texas, in 2006, and has opened for legendary artists, including Bobby Brown, PJ Morton (keyboardist for Maroon 5), Grammy Award winner Shaun Martin (Snarky Puppy), The Dramatics, and many other acclaimed performers.
In the spring of 2008, NaTasha Rogers flew to New York City to audition for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ MTV reality series Diddy’s: Making His Band, which aired later that summer. Although she didn’t ultimately make “His Band,” she was the only female keyboardist to advance to the final round in New York City, ranking among the top 12 keyboardists nationwide.
Feedback from music industry greats such as Rob Lewis—musical director for New Kids on the Block and bandleader on VH-1’s 'Big Morning Buzz' with Nick Lachey—and Romeo Johnson, vocal coach for NBC’s The Voice, left NaTasha Rogers profoundly motivated and filled with musical wisdom to last a lifetime.

At the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, she was the only woman "screamer" in the trumpet-- "The super high notes" section. She performed in Kanagawa, Japan, as the resident entertainer at the luxurious XIV 箱根離宮 private resort hotel, inside the Bella Vista Lounge, from March 2014 to February 2015. As "The 1st Queen of the Talk Box!" ™ 💯, her highly anticipated debut solo self-titled album, #THETALKBOXQUEEN, was digitally released on 7.7.17 and a separate CD debut on 7.17.17. One thing's for sure: #THETALKBOXQUEEN has made her mark in world music history with innovation, creativity, and timeless, uplifting music.
After returning from China, at the top of the COVID-19 Pandemic, NaTasha Rogers enrolled in the graduate Music Therapy program at Texas Woman’s University. From 2020 to 2025, she studied acoustic guitar under the guidance of Professors Carlos Pezzimenti and Dr. Amanda St. Germain-Sehr. Between 2023 and 2025, she began taking harp lessons with Minda Keene at MindaMusic School & Store and Harp Gallery in Garland, Texas. There, she learned to read harp notation, develop proper hand and finger placement, and explore the history and techniques of both lever and pedal harps. Although NaTasha naturally prefers to improvise and let her fingers be free, she values the balance between creative freedom and structured music reading in safe spaces that encourage exploration and self-expression.
In NaTasha Rogers' early harp videos, from 2023 to present, which she affectionately describes as “raw, in the moment, and uncut,” reflect her authentic learning process—no guidance, just what her hands and fingers do naturally. Thanks to her esteemed harp teacher, Minda Keene, NaTasha continues to refine her hand positioning and playing technique with humility and dedication.
In May 2025, Rogers was involved in an auto accident that led to a temporary loss of muscle memory from being unable to practice and unable to exercise physically, which affected her harp, guitar, and keyboard abilities. Yet, with persistence, patience, and determination, she is steadily strengthening and technique—transforming her recovery into a living testament to rebuilding her resilience. Her goal is to strengthen the weakest muscles within her own body — using music as a safe, holistic, therapeutic tool — so that she can one day provide excellent service to others more effectively as a board-certified music therapist.
NaTasha Rogers naturally improvises with ease across multiple instruments, both with and without formal training or technique, and continues to strengthen her musicianship on multiple instruments under self-guidance and seasoned-professional music educators as she moves toward board certification as a music therapist. Her divine purpose and soul mission is to help people heal and manifest their greatest, safest, most magnificent dreams through intentional, positive affirmations, self-awareness, and high-vibrational, therapeutic music listening and performance experiences. And in due time, as a board-certified music therapist.

NaTasha Rogers began producing music in the sixth grade at just 12 years old. She received a Yamaha PRS-265 keyboard for Christmas in 1995 from her grandmother, Hattie, who made history in the 1970s as the third African American woman to serve on the Fort Worth Police Department. Armed with a double cassette recorder, young NaTasha would overdub sounds, layer melodies, and splice tapes whenever they tangled—early signs of the creative producer she was becoming. Her mother, Erma, recognized that spark of dedication and, by age 17, gifted her a Korg Triton 61-key workstation as a surprise Christmas gift. NaTasha taught herself to compose, arrange, and mix digitally using the onboard sequencer by reading the user manual—igniting the birth of a young, innovative music producer. In 2000, it was one of the most advanced and exciting music workstations on the market.
The musicians in her city knew talent when they saw it—and they knew gear, too. “Say, fool! She got the Triton!” whispered R.C. Williams to the band as NaTasha Rogers walked into the sanctuary of Grace Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, for the 2000 MLK Celebration performance with Darryl Coley. At that time, NaTasha Rogers was the only musician in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with her own Korg Triton keyboard—and notably, the only woman in the band. Her long-time friend, the late Daniel Jones (later known as Music Director for Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake), once called to borrow it, becoming the first musician she ever allowed to use her prized workstation. Daniel also taught her a valuable technique: chording with the left hand while playing melody with the right.
Although NaTasha Rogers and Daniel Jones grew up together, during amazing eras of Dallas-Fort Worth jam sessions at Club 36:9, in Deep Ellum, and countless live Gospel concerts, they never recorded music. However, she did record with her mentors, the late Bernard Wright in 2016-2017, and the late Shaun Martin, during the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2021—unreleased studio sessions that remain part of her personal musical archive, awaiting the right moment to be shared with the world.
In January 2000, at just 17 years old, NaTasha Rogers became the youngest musician in the band for the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at Fort Worth’s historic Bass Performance Hall. The headliners that evening were Grammy-nominated gospel legend Daryl Coley and Grammy Award-winning artist Yolanda Adams. The accompanying band for Daryl Coley featured members of the Grammy Award-winning group God’s Property, including R.C. Williams (keys), Patron Thomas (sax), Gerriel Carter (trumpet), Kermit Wells (keys), Lawrence "Peebody" Ferrell, and Keith Taylor (bass). There were others, but these musicians are the ones she remembered the most from that once-in-a-lifetime event. The God's Property band was one of the most influential groups of musicians and music producers who inspired NaTasha Rogers. Along with Charles McCampbell, Quamon Fowler, and platinum music producer King Logan (Omaion, Michael Jackson), Teddy Riley, J Moss (PAJAM), Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Devante Swing from R&B group Jodeci, D'Angelo, and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins.
NaTasha Rogers launched her independent music production company and label, NMR PRODUCTIONS, in 2008, and relaunched it in 2020 with an expanded creative vision. She has been releasing albums and singles since around 2009/2010. Her debut EP, 'Love. Peace. Music, under the brand NaTasha "Ms.Music" Rogers, was released in March 2015. It was followed by her debut, high-energy talk-box album, self-titled, #THETALKBOXQUEEN, on iTunes and on CD, under the brand #THETALKBOXQUEEN, in 2017. This was then followed by her debut solo album, released under her own name, NaTasha Rogers, in 2020.
In 2025, under her evolving brand and as a multi-instrumentalist duo band, Divine Alignment—formed with her best friend and musical collaborator, Porsche Angel— NaTasha Rogers continues to create timeless, high-vibrational music and inspirational visual content, sharing healing frequencies, affirmations, and artistry across her expanding social media platforms. Worldwide.
